If you are looking for a clean and tidy room, then this is it!
Myself and my family have dust allergy issues and I had informed the team well in advance regarding the same.
Upon checking in the room was spot on clean and tidy. Excellent service, friendly staff, delicious complimentary breakfast.
Close to all amenities and lookouts.
Highly recommended! Coming back again!
We truly enjoyed our 2 nights stay over a weekend.
our room is modern and clean, reasonable size and had a small outdoor courtyard as well. The hotel is right in the heart of the village, perfect location, we even took a morning walk to the pier.
Our room rate included breakfast, delicious cooked breakfast as per your order, so much better than breakfast buffet that offered by nearly every Melbourne large hotels.
Pillows are the only item can be improved, they are too soft provided no support at all.
A great boutique hotel for a weekend away, we will certainly come again
We had such a delicious dinner and fun time.
Our waitress, Lucy was very friendly, attentive and professional. She made sure we were happy and well looked after all night. Thank you!
Other than not having any contact details after hours (wind had blown my door shut locking me out, staff were fantastic, another guest rang up to get me let back into my room and a lovely man came to let me in..
There really needs to be an emergency out of hours contact number for this purpose especially for your country visitors
Otherwise lovely receptionist when checking in, checkin was a breeze, room was nice and clean, serviced well.
Meals in Bistro were nice if rushed (got there late due to accident on highway into Melbourne)
Gaming staff were a bit abrupt speaking to guests when asked questions about drinks stocked especially when guests had never been here before
Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included. Staff were amazing especially a man who works at the bar & the Cafe. He was fantastic, made us feel welcome. We had a drink before check in, he let us know all the services Flinders Hotel has to offer. He served breakfast both mornings always with a smile. Breakfast was delicious. The pubs meals were great too, huge parmas. Had some minor issues with the key cards however issue was solved within minutes with after hours contact. Gorgeous little town with everything you need. Will definitely be back!
Flinders Hotel comes with a hefty price, with not a lot to offer. Small rooms. Terrible internet. No views. The breakfast venue is more like a school cafeteria. Also, smokers be aware. The entire property is non-smoking. That includes the patio adjacent to the room. $200 was taken out of our account without prior notice. For a "deep clean". It's in their "policy" as explained by the manager. No heads-up. No discussions. No negotiating. Also, if you're considering eating at their restaurant. There is a charge for cancelling a reservation. Just another charge on top of a very expensive and overall disappointing stay at the Flinders Hotel.
Myself, my daughter and our husbands booked an overnight stay at The Flinders with a mid week package that included dinner and breakfast. After a very warm welcome at reception from Adam, we went to our rooms and to our delight the rooms were spotless with great amenities. Great selection in the mini bar and the prices were very reasonable.
Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious with a great varied menu at both. Although very busy, the service staff in the dining room were very attentive.
A very early walk around the golf course with spectacular ocean views, then after breakfast we showered and then shopped in the rather unique retail main street shops where we found a number of purchases.
A great environment was reflected by the warmth of the local residents whoever we met.
We’ve decided to make this stay at least an annual event and are going to invite friends, next time.
Thanks to everybody who made this stay so memorable.
I absolutely love this place but our last visit was a little disappointing. We came for a mid week lunch which was very nice. I asked for some water for the table and subsequently was charged nearly $10 for a bottle of sparkling water. …
